About

the firm

I left my previous firm in 2020 after 17 years (10 as a lawyer). The COVID-19 pandemic, coupled with six months working from home, made me realise that there was a better way to practise law and I could better serve my clients on my own terms.

You'll see my motto is "doing law differently". Being in my own practice has allowed me to tailor the way I do things to suit each of my client's individual needs, and to make the legal process as easy as possible for each person I am able to assist. My aim is to take the stress and pressure off you, freeing you up to get on with other things, and leaving the paperwork and red tape to me.

I am based in the Ballarat region and am available to assist clients across Australia in matters relating to purchase and sale of real estate in Victoria, estates where the deceased held assets in Victoria, and wills, powers of attorney and other life planning documents for Victorian residents.

the lawyer

I have two degrees, a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in history) from the University of New England (located in the beautiful New England region of northern New South Wales). I graduated in 2008 and completed a supervised workplace traineeship at Rhonda G. Wilkinson in Ballarat, before being admitted to practice in 2010. Our firm became Nevett Wilkinson Frawley in 2011, and I remained there alongside Rhonda until 2020, practising primarily in the areas of deceased estates, wills and conveyancing.

the person

When I'm not "lawyering" (and making up fake words), my family is my number one priority. I also enjoy spending my limited free time travelling, baking, walking and reading. My office is mobile and usually includes furry co-workers by the names of Max and Jeffrey, one of whom has a very loud voice. My apologies in advance if he tries to join in on a phone conversation.
